The Cowboys have a very tough defense that has made it difficult for other teams to move the ball with any consistency. Statistically, it seems likely that Kittle will not exceed 40.5 receiving yards. So, we are going “lower” on this contest.

Underdog Fantasy Rankings Pick #2: Josh Allen                                                                                                    

QB Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills also makes our list of Underdog Fantasy rankings. The Bills will be playing the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Underdog is offering the following contests:

• 259.5 Passing Yards: High/Lower
• 32.5 Rushing Yards: Higher/Lower
• 296.5 Pass + Rush Yards: Higher/Lower
• 0.5 Interceptions: Higher/Lower
• 0.5 Fumbles Lost: Higher 1.75x
• 0.5 Rush + Rec TDs: Higher 1.25x

Here are Allen’s stats to this point:

• 262.0 Passing Yards Per Game
• Pass Completion Rate: 74.8%
• 4 Interceptions
• 9 Touchdowns
• 6.6 Rushing Yards Per Carry, 26.5 yards Per Game

Keep in mind that Allen’s 2023 stats may be artificially low due to his performance during Week 1 against the Jets, which was not his finest. But that was very much the exception and not the rule, as demonstrated by his play ever since.

Another important stat to know about Allen is that he ties as one of the QBs with the most combined touchdowns, with 11 in total. For fantasy football players over the past few weeks, he has been a shining star. So, you may very well want to pick “Higher” for Allen for some of these picks.

One of the ones that we like best is for Allen to record at least one rushing or receiving touchdown. He has a massive frame that he uses to bowl over defenders in the red zone. Look for Allen to find paydirt himself this Sunday.

Underdog Fantasy Rankings Pick #3: Justin Fields

If you want to enter a contest for the Thursday Chicago Bears vs. Washington Commanders game, you should take a look at Bears QB Justin Fields, specifically his total passing yards.

Underdog Fantasy is offering a contest for Higher/Lower for Fields at 193.5 passing yards. Fields was one of the NFL’s best passers last week and finished with four touchdowns. If he can build on that performance, he will easily clear this number. This is a great opportunity. Underdog Fantasy Rankings Pick #4: Trevor Lawrence

Another pick for the Buffalo Bills vs. Jacksonville Jaguars game on Sunday involves QB Trevor Lawrence of the Jaguars. At Underdog Fantasy, contests for Lawrence include Higher/Lower for 1.5 passing TDs and 246.5 Passing Yards.

Thus far, Lawrence’s Passing Yards come out to 235.8 per game. His completion rate for his passes is 67.1%, and he has 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

While the Lower option looks more likely than Higher for Lawrence for Passing Yards, it is not impossible that he will get more than 246.5. But we would not feel confident at all going with Higher for 1.5 Passing TDs. He would need two or more Passing TDs for Higher to win, something that seems tough against a stout Bills defense. While chances are good he will get one, two is a much longer shot. Lower is more likely to win and our pick for our NFL Week 5 Underdog Fantasy rankings.

Underdog Fantasy Rankings Pick #5: Tua Tagovailoa

To wrap up our NFL Week 5 Underdog Fantasy rankings, let’s talk about Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa. At Underdog Fantasy, you can enter Higher/Lower for 2.0 Passing TDs or 284.5 Passing Yards contests for Tua this week.

Currently, Tagovailoa’s has 1,306 total passing yards on the season. This puts him at the head of the pack for the entire league. He also comes in second place for total passing TDs with nine.

If you just include games in the division, this gives him an impressive average of 326.5 passing yards per game and 2.25 passing touchdowns per game.

Sunday’s game will pit the Dolphins up against the New York Giants. The Giants just had a short week, and there was recently some drama involving Evan Neal telling off his fans in a game against the Seattle Seahawks.

So, we do not really expect the Giants to be playing in top form on Sunday. Between that fact and Tagovailoa’s excellent stats so far this season, we think it makes sense to go with “Higher” for passing yards, and to consider doing the same for passing TDs as well.
