Big discrepancies between Underdog ADP and other consensus ADP rankings can give you a clue as to which players might be undervalued on the platform. Discrepancies can help you build your draft list and find players that might be going too late — or too early — on the Underdog Fantasy platform.
To make things easy for you, we have identified the three most overvalued and undervalued players according to Underdog Fantasy Football ADP against the consensus ADP of the fantasy community.
What is Underdog Fantasy
Underdog Fantasy is one of the fastest-growing fantasy sports platforms in North America. The company has attracted big investors like Mark Cuban, Odell Beckham Jr., and Kevin Durant since it was founded in 2020.
The online fantasy site is now most well-known for offering a wide range of fun fantasy competitions such as Best Ball Mania and Pick ‘Em contests. As mentioned before, Underdog’s 2023 Best Ball Mania IV is currently offering players the chance to win $15 million in total prizes with $3 million going to the first-place winner.
To enter that contest, users must draft 18 players in a 12-team fantasy football league. The highest scoring team over the course of the 2023 NFL season will win $3 million. By comparing the ADP at Underdog against the fantasy community consensus, we can discover some hidden gems, as well as some overvalued players, to help in the quest to perform well in this contest.
Players Overvalued on Underdog Fantasy Football ADP
The following players are taken higher by Underdog Fantasy football players than by players at other sites. This means that when your drafting at Underdog, you might want to let other teams reach on these players.
Calvin Ridley, Jacksonville Jaguars (WR)
- Underdog Fantasy Football ADP: 28.8
- Consensus ADP range: 34-46
Calvin Ridley is one of the biggest wildcards in football coming into the 2023 NFL season.
For those who don’t know, Ridley was one of the best wide receivers in the NFL during his 2020 breakout season with the Atlanta Falcons. During the 2021 season, Ridley abruptly stepped away from football citing mental health issues. He was later suspended for the entire 2022 NFL season for multiple violations of the league’s anti-sports-betting policy.
No one can predict how Ridley will perform after his season-and-a-half absence, but many fantasy football fans are backing Ridley to have a big debut season in Jacksonville.
According to the hundreds of thousands of real-person and simulated drafts used to calculate the Underdog Fantasy Football ADP, Ridley is one of the top 16 wide receivers in fantasy football this year. Underdog Fantasy has his ADP at 28.8.
Most fantasy experts and ADP rankings have Ridley outside the top 20 receivers available and have him regularly picked at pick number 36 or later.
If you ask Ridley himself, he agrees with Underdog. Ridley told the media at Jacksonville preseason that he believes he is already one of the best receivers in the league and hopes to prove it once the season starts.
In the opinion of the fantasy community, it might take some time for Ridley to shake off the rust, and thus we would be wary of taking him at his ADP on Underdog Fantasy, a good ~10ish spots higher than the community consensus.
Tua Tagovailoa, Miami Dolphins (QB)
- Underdog Fantasy Football ADP: 91.6
- Consensus ADP range: 97-109
Tua Tagovailoa’s health is another major storyline coming into the 2023 NFL season. How he bounces back from an injury riddled season will have a huge affect on the outcome of the 2023 AFC East.
Because of the extreme uncertainty surrounding Tua’s health, very few fantasy experts have Tua being one of the top quarterbacks available. However, according to the Underdog Fantasy Football ADP, Tua is the tenth most valuable quarterback available this year. He’s also being drafted on average just outside the top 90 at Underdog Fantasy.

The consensus across other fantasy sites has Tua going much lower. Many experts do not list Tua inside their top 15 quarterbacks. Additionally, you will not find many ADP lists with Tua going inside the top 100.
Miami has tons of talent. With star receivers like Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, Miami could have a very high-powered offense this season, which means Tua could be a great pick-up this season. That is if he can stay healthy.
Injuries are unfortunately impossible to predict. However, Tua is not really a running quarterback, so if his O-line holds firm, Tua should not take as many big hits next season as he did last year. Still, he seems to be overvalued in the Underdog Drafts and is not a great option as your starting quarterback.
Skyy Moore, Kansas City Chief (WR)
- Underdog Fantasy Football ADP: 95.9
- Consensus ADP range: 115-137
Underdog Fantasy Football players are very high on Kansas City Chiefs receiver Skyy Moore. Next season will be just Moore’s second in the NFL, but many signs point to it being a breakout season.
Moore played just 40% of Kansas City snaps last season, so there is a lot of room for improvement. Andy Reid is well-known for slowly incorporating receivers into his offense. And with a QB like Patrick Mahomes, there is a chance that Moore will have a much bigger year this year than last.
Most fantasy ADP rankings across the indsurty have Moore going at pick 115 or later. Despite that, his Underdog Fantasy Football ADP ranking has him typically being picked around pick 96. That’s almost two rounds higher than typical.
Players Undervalued on Underdog Fantasy Football ADP
Underdog Fantasy football players draft the next three players lower than players on other fantasy football sites. If you’re looking for good value in your Underdog Fantasy football draft, you should be able to get these players in a solid draft positon.
Davante Adams, Las Vegas Raiders (WR)
- Underdog Fantasy Football ADP: 14.4
- Consensus ADP range: 10-15
Davante Adams is the highest-rated player we will discuss in this article. No matter who you ask, he should be going high in your fantasy league draft. With that being said, wide receivers are incredibly important in fantasy. The fact Underdog values him less than other sites is worth mentioning.
According to the Underdog Fantasy Football ADP rankings, Adams is being drafted as the 10th-best wide receiver available. Other sites generally consider him to be one of the top seven wide receivers available.
This is a small difference, but an important one, especially considering that Adams was a top-three wide receiver in fantasy points last season.
On the positive side, limited competition out wide in Las Vegas means that Adams will get plenty of passes thrown to him. Adams’ long history also is a big plus if you are thinking about taking him high in the draft.
To be more negative about things, Adams turns 31 this season and will be reliant on the injury-prone Jimmy Garoppolo staying healthy for an entire season. Other questions about Garoppolo’s arm strength and how he will gel with Adams also loom over the Raiders this season.
If you believe in Adams, who was a top fantasy option last season, you can get him in a good spot on Underdog Fantasy.
Kenneth Walker III, Seattle Seahawks (RB)
- Underdog Fantasy Football ADP: 54.0
- Consensus ADP range: 35-55
Kenneth Walker III did a very serviceable job at running back for the Seahawks last season. The second-round pick rushed for over 1,000 and racked up nine TDs in his rookie season, helping the Seahawks finish with a 9-8 record.
For fantasy players, Walker was one of the top pleasant surprises of the season. He finished the year as the 17th-best running back in all of fantasy football. It is no wonder then why so many players are backing him to perform again this year. One group who is not though are users at Underdog Fantasy Football.

Underdog’s ADP rankings show Walker generally being picked around pick number 54. Many other ADP rankings have Walker going as high as the mid-30s.
Backing a running back after one good season is always risky. It is especially so in the case of Walker. The Seahawks used their second-round pick in this year’s draft to draft UCLA RB Zach Charbonnet. Seattle would not have used such a high pick on Charbonnet if they were not going to play him, which is bad news for Walker.
However, Walker is going in the fifth round according to his Underdog Fantasy ADP. This means that he’s not likely to be your team’s number one running back and can instead be a very solid number two, especially with the talent and skill he showed as a rusher last season.
Russell Wilson, Denver Broncos (QB)
- Underdog Fantasy Football ADP: 133.4
- Consensus ADP range: 115-130
We go from a current Seahawk to a former one. Russell Wilson had a terrible debut season with the Denver Broncos in 2022. It is really hard to overstate just how bad it was. The Broncos were the worst team in the AFC West, and Broncos fans even began comparing the dismal amount of touchdowns thrown by Wilson to the number of bathrooms in his house.
Despite his first season being so bad, it seems like most fantasy users are expecting some kind of rebound. Underdog Fantasy players do not feel the same way. The Underdog Fantasy ADP rankings have Wilson going, on average, at pick 133.4. Most other sites and experts peg Wilson going anywhere from 115-130.
Common sense says Russ is bound to improve, and Sean Payton entering the fold as the new Broncos head coach should help things. If you’re going to wait on quarterback and go for wide receivers and running backs early, Wilson is an undervalued option that could be just what your Underdog Fantasy team needs.
